Since January 2017, I hold the TCL Chair on 5G. The Chair is a 5-year research program established by TCL and CentraleSupélec in order to develop innovative solutions for tomorrow’s 5G wireless systems. In this framework, the objective of the Chair is to address research areas, focusing on UE aspects, and anticipating on future transmission modes and network organization, such as multiple access techniques and massively distributed network architectures. The work relies on advances in communication/networking theory and mathematical tools (optimization theory, Markov chain, probability theory, queuing theory, etc.) to address challenging open problems in 5G networks.
